Kailasha Vadyam Offered at Jejuri’s Shri Khandoba Temple, with Adiyogi Adorned in Turmeric’s Golden Hue

Pune, November 1, 2026 ( TGN ): Isha Volunteers offered Kailasha Vadyam, a sacred musical offering, at the revered Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri today, bringing the spirit of Adiyogi Shiva to devotees. The offering was accompanied by a grand procession of Adiyogi, adorned in turmeric’s golden hue, creating a vibrant devotional atmosphere. Earlier in the day, Kailasha Vadyam was also offered at Pune’s Shri Someshwar Temple, accompanied by a grand procession of Adiyogi.

Kailasha Vadyam refers to the music played in Kailash, the abode of Adiyogi Shiva. Through the sounds of sacred instruments, this ancient musical offering seeks to recreate the atmosphere of Kailash, offering people the possibility of experiencing its spirit wherever the offering takes place. Rooted in devotion, Kailasha Vadyam is intended to aid one in realizing the state of Shiva.

Speaking about today’s offering at Shri Khandoba Temple, Adv. Vishwas Govind Panse, President of Shri Martand Dev Sansthan, said, “Through Isha’s offering of Kailasha Vadyam, we witnessed a beautiful coming together of the cultures of South and West India. The way Isha’s volunteers came together and offered Kailasha Vadyam was truly beautiful.”

Kailasha Vadyam has come to Maharashtra for the first time, beginning with its maiden offering at Mumbai’s Shri Babulnath Temple on October 28, followed by an offering at Shri Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple on October 31, as part of the celebrations marking the inauguration of the Nashik Simhastha Kumbh Mela. The Maharashtra journey culminated today with offerings at Shri Someshwar Temple in Pune and Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri.

As part of the offering, devotees were also offered sacred Rudraksha beads and Vibhuti as Prasadam. Through these offerings, Isha aims to make the experience of Kailasha Vadyam accessible to devotees at Shiva temples across Maharashtra.

Kailasha Vadyam can be offered free of cost at any Shiva temple. Temples interested in hosting this offering for their devotees can reach out to Isha at 83000 83111 or write to info@shivanga.org.
