Isha Brings Adiyogi and Kailasha Vadyam to Trimbakeshwar for Nashik Kumbh Mela Inauguration

Nashik, October 31, 2026 ( TGN ): Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore, home to the 112-foot Adiyogi consecrated by Sadhguru, brought the spirit of Adiyogi to the inauguration of the Nashik Kumbh Mela with a special offering of Kailasha Vadyam at the sacred Shri Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. The offering was accompanied by a grand procession of Adiyogi to the temple and a ceremonial dip in the sacred Godavari river.

Kailasha Vadyam refers to the music played in Kailash, the abode of Adiyogi Shiva. Through the sounds of sacred instruments, this ancient musical offering seeks to recreate the atmosphere of Kailash, offering people the possibility of experiencing its spirit wherever the offering takes place. Rooted in devotion, Kailasha Vadyam is intended to aid one in realizing the state of Shiva.

Thanking the Isha volunteers for offering this spiritual experience, Shri Govind Chhaya Subhashrao Jadhav, Secretary of Shri Trimbakeshwar Devasthan Trust and Chief Officer of Trimbak Municipal Council, said, “We have been planning this for the past two months, and it is wonderful that the offering has taken place on such an auspicious occasion as the inauguration of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela. I wish for this offering to reach cities and villages across the state so that more devotees can experience it.”

Speaking about the Isha volunteers who offered Kailasha Vadyam and made the experience possible, he said, “The team comprises people not only from different parts of the country but also devotees from abroad. The experience and the sounds of the musical instruments played during the Kailasha Vadyam gave us goosebumps.”

Kailasha Vadyam has come to Maharashtra for the first time, with its maiden offering at Mumbai’s Shri Babulnath Temple on October 28, followed by the offering at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple today, as part of the celebrations marking the inauguration of the Nashik Kumbh Mela.

The offerings will now continue in Pune on November 1, beginning at Shri Someshwar Temple from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

As part of the offering, devotees are also being offered sacred Rudraksha beads and Vibhuti (sacred ash) as Prasadam. Through these offerings, Isha aims to make the experience of Kailasha Vadyam accessible to devotees at Shiva temples across Maharashtra.

Kailasha Vadyam can be offered free of cost at any Shiva temple. Temples interested in hosting this offering for their devotees can reach out to Isha at 83000 83111 or write to info@shivanga.org.
