Pune-Based Dhyan Guru Raghunath Guruji Creates World’s Largest 5,211-kg Parad Shivling; Grand Pran Pratishtha Held in Haridwar

The three-day Pran Pratishtha ceremony of what is being described as the world’s largest 5,211-kilogram Parad Shivling concluded at Shri Sai Shiv Ganga Dham in Haridwar, drawing more than 2,000 devotees, saints, spiritual seekers and dignitaries from across the country.

The massive Parad Shivling was created by Pune-based Dhyan Guru Raghunath Guruji after nearly a decade of spiritual practice, research and study of Parad science. According to those associated with the project, mercury, silver, gold and extracts from 108 herbs were used in its creation. Spiritual scholars have described it as a unique blend of India’s ancient spiritual traditions, meditation practices and Parad science.

The consecration ceremony was held under the blessings of the Guru Gorakhnath tradition, revered Pir Yogi Mahant Somnath Bapu of Girnar and with the guidance of Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar. Organisers said the initiative was aimed at promoting world peace, positive energy and human welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Raghunath Guruji said the Shivling was not merely a religious symbol but a centre for meditation, self-reflection and spiritual awakening. He said the project represented years of research and spiritual discipline dedicated to the welfare of humanity.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent spiritual leaders, including Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Ji Maharaj, Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj, Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj, Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, Swami Ravindra Puri Ji Maharaj, Sadhvi Ritambhara Ji, Acharya Manish Ji of HIIMS and senior representatives of the Vishva Hindu Parishad. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha and Uttarakhand minister and Ganga Sabha president Nitin Gautam were also among the dignitaries present.

Industrialist and social worker Rajeev Bansal, who played a key role in organising the event, said he considered his participation an opportunity for service and devotion. “I am a devotee of Sai Baba. By Baba’s blessings, I received the opportunity to be part of this divine mission,” he said.

Alongside his spiritual activities, Raghunath Guruji is associated with initiatives focused on disability empowerment, women farmers’ welfare, environmental awareness and innovation-driven social development. Through DICCAI (Divyang Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry), efforts are being made to promote self-employment and economic empowerment among persons with disabilities, with Amit Agarwal playing an important role in advancing these initiatives.

The three-day programme featured Vedic chanting, yajnas, meditation sessions, spiritual discourses and traditional rituals. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Raghunath Guruji thanked the saints, devotees, volunteers and supporters who contributed to the event’s success.

Devotees described the gathering as a rare confluence of spirituality, service, science and social harmony, with the message that “Meditation leads to Peace, Peace leads to Harmony, and Harmony leads to Global Welfare.”
