Spectacular Durga Puja Celebrations: Fusion of Culture, Artistry & Community Spirit
NAVI MUMBAI, 7 OCTOBER, 2024 (TGN): The Navi Mumbai Bengali Association (NMBA), a prominent socio-cultural hub for Bengalis in Maharashtra, is set to host a spectacular five-day Sharodotsav celebration to be held at the fully air-conditioned CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Hall No 1, Sector 30, Vashi, (next to Vashi Railway Station) spread over an area of 1,50,000 square feet, the event is anticipated to draw over 800,000 plus attendees.
The 18 foot Idol made by artisans from West Bengal with bio degradable soil from the banks holy Ganges is expected to be a sight to behold.
From traditional puja rituals to experiencing an impressive array of offerings as artisans and craftsmen from across India present their exquisite creations.
The event will feature electrifying performances by renowned Kolkata and Bollywood stars, Anwesha, Anupam Roy, Akriti Kakar and Abhijit Bhattacharya.
Adding to the vibrancy, NMBA will host a three-day free distribution of Bhog for all devotees the highlights include a fashion show featuring ramp walks by underprivileged children and cultural performances by senior citizens.
This celebration promises to reflect India’s diverse cultural heritage, showcasing unity in religious beliefs, mutual harmony and a deep love for the nation’s traditions.
