Piyush Goyal Attends Dahi Handi Celebrations Across North Mumbai
Mumbai, 5 September 2026 ( TGN ) : Union Minister and Mumbai North MP Shri Piyush Goyal attended Dahi Handi celebrations across Malad, Kandivali, Borivali and Dahisar on Saturday, joining local residents at several locations across the constituency.
As part of the celebrations, Shri Goyal visited Devipada Ground in Borivali East, Dahi Handi programme near Gokulanand Hotel in Ashokvan, Chintamani Plaza on Shivallabh Road in Dahisar East, Jambli Galli in Borivali West, Saptah Krida Maidan in Mahavir Nagar, Late Gopinath Munde Chowk in Charkop, Vrajbhumi Complex on New Link Road in Kandivali West, Solicitors Bungalow on Rani Sati Marg in Malad East and Veer Abdul Hamid Chowk in Malad East.
During the visits, he interacted with local residents, organisers and community representatives and extended his greetings on the occasion of Dahi Handi.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Goyal said Dahi Handi is an occasion that brings people together and strengthens the spirit of unity, dedication and social harmony. He said such festivals are an opportunity to celebrate togetherness and community spirit.
The events saw participation from residents and community members from different parts of North Mumbai, with people gathering in large numbers to celebrate Dahi Handi with enthusiasm and joy.
