Rare Linga Bhairavi Devi Darshan Draws Hundreds of Devotees in Pune
The special evening featured Devi Stuti, Abhishekam, and devotional offerings by Sounds of Isha, bringing devotees an opportunity to experience the grace of Linga Bhairavi Devi.
19 July, Pune ( TGN ): Hundreds of devotees gathered this evening for the rare in-person Linga Bhairavi Devi Darshan at The Corinthians Resort & Club, Nyati County, Undri. Unique in her manifestation as a linga, Linga Bhairavi Devi was consecrated by Sadhguru as a powerful feminine energy form. A woman of ultimate proportions, she embodies the nurturing and creative aspects of the universe. She has three-and-a-half chakras—Muladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipuraka, and half of Anahata—representing stability, health, and well-being, which are fundamental to the process of life.
Devotees participated in a special Devi Stuti, a chant consecrated by Sadhguru in praise of Linga Bhairavi. An Abhishekam, consisting of 11 sacred offerings, was performed by a specially trained Devi Sevika who had travelled from the Linga Bhairavi abode in Coimbatore. Isha’s homegrown musical ensemble, Sounds of Isha, presented soulful devotional offerings, creating a deeply immersive atmosphere of devotion among the attendees.
The evening began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Shri Nitin Nyati, Chairman & Managing Director, Nyati Group, along with his wife Smt. Sulekha Nyati; Shri Pramod Rawat, Chairman, Deccan Education Society; and Smt. Aditi Bhosale-Walunj, and Chetan Bhosale, Founders of Repos Energy, who were the chief guests for the event. Other notable guests who took the auspicious darshan included Business Owners, Industrialists, Social Workers, and Content Creators.
Explaining the significance of the Linga Bhairavi Devi Darshan, Jaya Rao Balchandani, a Devi Sevika and Dubai-based mother of two, said, “This is an exuberant and celebratory offering for all those who long for the grace and darshan of Linga Bhairavi Devi in the vicinity of their own city. Though Her Grace is not limited by geography, Linga Bhairavi Devi’s main abode, or moolasthanam, is in Coimbatore, where she was consecrated by Sadhguru in 2010. Later this year, Sadhguru will consecrate Linga Bhairavi Devi at Sadhguru Sannidhi Bengaluru in October. In 2023, Sadhguru established the Linga Bhairavi Devi temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, and last year, he consecrated Linga Bhairavi Devi in the United States. Devotees can also experience Devi in New Delhi, Salem, and Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu.
