Karnavati University Honours Air Chief Marshal AP Singh with Honorary Doctorate at its 6th Convocation

7th November 2025 ( TGN ): Karnavati University celebrated a proud academic moment as it hosted its 6th Convocation Ceremony on the university grounds in Gandhinagar. The occasion was graced by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Mrs. Sarita Singh, President AFFWA, and renowned Bollywood actor and director Shri Saurabh Shukla. Shri Ritesh Hada, President of Karnavati University, delivered the Presidential Address, reflecting on the institution’s journey, its commitment to holistic and contemporary learning, and its responsibility to shape citizens who serve society with vision and integrity.

During the ceremony, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh was conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Karnavati University in recognition of his exemplary leadership and distinguished service to the nation. While receiving the honour, he expressed his gratitude to the University and said that it was “a deeply meaningful moment to receive this degree at a time when learning and leadership are evolving so rapidly.”

He added, “I have always believed that learning should never stop. It must remain a continuous part of life, no matter what stage we are in. Remember, this journey does not end here — this is only the beginning. Life will present many milestones, and at every step, one must keep learning”

Shri Ritesh Hada expressed deep respect for India’s Armed Forces and the university’s commitment to societal service through innovation. He said, “Serving Indian military services through our innovation and research is among the core and pure value along with teaching other streams of knowledge and education at the Karnavati University.”

Degrees and gold medals were then awarded to graduating students across the university’s schools of Design, Business, Liberal Arts and Mass Communication, Law, Technology, and Dentistry, celebrating their academic achievements and commitment to excellence. The Registrar administered the Convocation Oath, affirming values of integrity, responsibility, and service to society. This year, 1,400 graduates stepped into new beginnings from the university’s six distinguished schools, all located within a vibrant 36-acre campus that is home to more than 8,000 students each year.
