Vagad Gurukul Rebrands As Vagad Global School Under ‘Vagad Gurukul Nav-Nirman Yojna’
MUMBAI, 8th MAY, 2024 (TGN): Vagad Global School run by Shree Jethalal Nonghabhai Gada Vagad Education Welfare & Research Center from 2002, will become an International School with the help of ‘Vagad Gurukul Nav-Nirman Yojna’. A target of Rs. 7.50 crore has been set for collection under the scheme.
Amrut Gada, Chairman of the organization informed that Wagad Global School, spread over 27 acre with 5 hostel /school buildings, located near Virar highway, will be modernized with the latest infrastructure and state-of-the-art technology as well as digitization and development of playgrounds. Smart Classes as per New Education Policy (NEP) will be also created.
Vagad Gurukul, now known as Vagad Global School has a capacity for lodging & boarding of 300 students. The students from 6th standard to 12th standard are taught under CBSC stream. In the last 20 years, more than 1200 students have passed from the school and have successfully made their careers.
The School offers scholarships and need-based financial aid to under privileged students, including free of charge education to the deserving ones.ENDS (TGN)
