Mumbai 13 th September 2026 ( TGN ) : The ‘Bhaktidwar Television App,’ a platform dedicated to devotion, spirituality and Sanatan culture, was launched in Mumbai by legendary bhajan singer and Padma Shri awardee Anup Jalota, who also unveiled the app’s logo. Guests at the event were given a glimpse of the religious and spiritual content that will soon be available on the platform.
Founder Dinesh Asopa described the launch as the culmination of a decade-long dream.
“I have been working on this app for the last 10 years. Our objective was not merely to create another OTT platform, but to build a digital destination where people can access devotional, spiritual and Sanatan Dharma-related content under one roof,” said Asopa.
Bhaktidwar will feature religious series, devotional music, mantras, chalisas, spiritual discourses, AI-generated videos, animation content and live telecasts of religious events. The subscription fee has been kept at just ₹11 per week, making it accessible to a wide audience.
Praising the initiative, Anup Jalota said, “Bhaktidwar is not just an app; it is a gateway to devotion, happiness and peace. In today’s stressful world, spirituality and devotion can bring true peace of mind. I believe this platform will connect millions of people with positive and spiritual content.”
He added that devotional music and spiritual content are increasingly being embraced by younger generations seeking peace and positivity in their lives.
The platform’s content includes three special shows directed by filmmaker Jaidev Chakravorty, who has directed more than 4,000 television episodes and three feature films during his distinguished career. The shows have been designed to present spiritual themes in a contemporary and engaging format.
Actors Sandeep Mohan and Sanjay Swaraj, who have worked on special shows for Bhaktidwar, were also present at the launch. All guests and contributors were felicitated with mementos. Bhawna Sharma, a well-known anchor associated with Doordarshan Dehradun, hosted the event. The launch was also attended by members of Dinesh Asopa’s family, including his father Jugal Kishore Asopa, daughters Divya Asopa and Nikita Asopa, and brother-in-law Jayesh Mishra.
With growing interest in spiritual and devotional content, the Bhaktidwar Television App aims to provide audiences in India and across the world with a dedicated platform focused on faith, positivity and inner peace.
