Federal Bank and Ministry of Home Affairs’ I4C Drive Nationwide Cyber Awareness Campaign ‘Twice is Wise’, Reaching Over 9 Crore Citizens

National, January 23, 2026 ( TGN ): Federal Bank, in association with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), concluded the nationwide public awareness campaign “Twice is Wise” in New Delhi, marking the culmination of a six-month-long citizen outreach initiative to strengthen India’s fight against cyber and financial fraud.

Launched around Independence Day 2025 and concluding ahead of Republic Day 2026, the campaign stands out as one of India’s largest government-supported public education efforts focused on cyber safety, financial vigilance, and digital fraud prevention.

The campaign was formally flagged off in Mumbai on Independence Day by Shri Sanjay Shintre, IPS (DIG – Maharashtra Cyber), alongside Shri KVS Manian, Managing Director & CEO, Federal Bank, and Shri Venkatraman Venkateswaran, Executive Director, Federal Bank, in the presence of Shri Nishant Kumar, Director, I4C.

Over six months, the Federal Bank–I4C initiative travelled across 11 states and 17 cities, reaching citizens through 85 schools and colleges, community roadshows, workshops, radio outreach, print campaigns, and digital platforms.
Anchored in the theme “Freedom from Fraudsters,” the campaign focused on educating citizens on safe digital practices, fraud prevention, and responsible financial behaviour, reinforcing the Government of India’s broader mission to build a secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
By combining grassroots outreach with high-impact mass media, the initiative reached over 9 crore Indians, strengthening public vigilance and awareness against cyber and financial fraud. The campaign underscores how collaboration between government agencies, financial institutions, and media can play a decisive role in combating rapidly evolving cybercrime threats.
The culmination event, held at the NDCC II Building, Connaught Place, New Delhi, brought together senior leaders and stakeholders, including Nishant Kumar (Director, I4C); Bincy Cherian (SVP & Chief of Internal Vigilance, Federal Bank), Avinash Nair (Chief Revenue Officer, Radio City), Anoop T (SVP & Country Head – Government & Institutional Business, Federal Bank), and Shri Vinod Kumar (VP & New Delhi Zonal Head, Federal Bank).
