Grand Nagar Kirtan at Four Bungalows Gurudwara Witnesses Over 5,000 Devotees
Mumbai 4 th November 2025 ( TGN ):A grand Nagar Kirtan was organized by Japal Singh Suri and Maninder Singh Suri of Four Bungalows Gurudwara Sahib, drawing an overwhelming participation of over 5,000 devotees who joined the spiritual procession with devotion and enthusiasm.
The Nagar Kirtan commenced from Lokhandwala Back Road and concluded at the Four Bungalows Gurudwara Sahib. The entire route echoed with chants of “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,” filling the atmosphere with divine energy and devotion.
Along the way, several seva stalls were set up where devotees and passersby were served water, tea, juice, sweets, and other prasad. This heartfelt act of service beautifully reflected the Gurudwara’s spirit of seva and community welfare.
Upon reaching the Gurudwara Sahib, the entire premises were adorned with 500 kilograms of fresh flowers, creating a magnificent and spiritual ambiance. Devotees gathered in large numbers to participate in the sacred kirtan that filled the night with peace and devotion.
A spectacular fireworks display illuminated the skies, adding grandeur to the evening’s celebrations. The event also featured an impressive Gatka performance by the Nihang Sikhs, who showcased their traditional martial art skills with swords and precision. The audience responded with resounding cheers and applause.
Following the Nagar Kirtan, a langar (community meal) was organized where thousands of devotees partook in the holy feast. Later in the night, the Akhhand Path Sahib began, spreading an aura of peace, devotion, and spiritual fulfillment across the Gurudwara premises.
The entire event was organized under the leadership of President Jaspal Singh Suri and Maninder Singh Suri of the Four Bungalows Gurudwara Sahib. Their efforts and coordination ensured the successful and peaceful completion of the grand procession.
The Nagar Kirtan was organized on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv, celebrating his life, teachings, and message of equality, love, service, and brotherhood.
The procession also featured religious floats and tableaux depicting important moments from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, inspiring the devotees to follow his path of truth and humility.
This Nagar Kirtan stood as a shining example of faith, unity, and devotion, reinforcing the timeless Sikh principles of seva (selfless service).
