MLA Dilip Lande raised issues for Chandivali Assembly with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at Sahyadri Guest House
MUMBAI, 12 JUNE, 2025 (TGN)– A special meeting was held at Sahyadri Guest House on various issues in Chandivali Assembly constituency under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and in the presence of local MLA Dilip Mama Lande.
The affected slum dwellers in Kranti Nagar, Sandesh Nagar, Jarimari, along the Mithi River and on the Airport Authority land, were rehabilitated in four buildings at HDIL Complex, Premier Estate, Kurla.
However, the citizens living in these buildings were facing many problems like inadequate water supply, lack of sanitation and garbage collection, and lack of sewage drainage. There were many complaints about roof leaks, elevators, and wiring in these buildings.
Also, due to the ongoing work on the missing link, there was insufficient water supply here. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed the officials in this meeting to complete this work and immediately provide adequate water supply there, as well as resolve all other problems immediately.
The 650-bed hospital in this PAP colony has been completed but is not in use. This hospital should be transferred to the Mumbai Municipal Corporation and started soon, the work on the new Municipal Hospital in Sangharsh Nagar is stalled and the city planner and contractor who are delaying this work should be replaced and a new tender should be floated for this work and the work of this hospital should also be completed immediately, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also directed the Mumbai Municipal Commissioner.
In this meeting, MLA Dilip Mama Lande, Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development Department Asim Kumar Gupta, Commissioner of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Bhushan Gagrani, Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA Vikram Kumar, Managing Director of SRA Dr. Mahendra Kalyankar, Chief Executive Officer of MHADA Milind Borikar and other senior officials as well as local Shiv Sena branch chief Mahesh Panigrahi were present.
