MUMBAI,27 th MAY 2025 ( TGN) : MLA Dilip Lande from Chandivali assembly constituency organized an inspection tour to find out the problems of the people in connection with various civic problems arising in the colony of Kurla West Premium Complex in his constituency. In order to solve the problems of the people here, the concerned officials were asked to give instructions on various issues and resolve the issues.
Meanwhile, the residents have gained some courage as MLA Dilip Lande immediately inaugurated the work of laying a 24-inch pipe line, solving the main issue of drinking water here.
MLA Dilip Lande visited Building No. 29 and 30 in Vidyavihar HDIL Colony, where the slum dwellers of Sandesh Nagar and Kranti Nagar, who are affected by the expansion of Mithi River, have been rehabilitated and listened to the problems of the people. Officials of the Municipal Corporation and MMRDA were present on this occasion.
Meanwhile, the residents raised various civic issues in the colony, including water shortage, electricity supply, street light, bad roads, drainage lines, etc., which were raised with MLA Dilip Lande. Lande instructed the concerned officials about all these issues and asked them to resolve the issue. He gave information about various works in the colony map and asked them to do the work properly.
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Water Department Assistant Engineer Vishal Bhalerao, Junior Engineer Ganesh Yadav, MMRDA Engineers Banerjee and Sonawane, Shiv Sena Women’s Assembly Chief Pooja Gawde, Branch Chief Mahesh Panigrahi, Women’s Branch Chief Sharmila Dalvi and local citizens were present along with other officials.
Reacting to this, MLA Dilip Lande said that the people living along the Mithi River have been rehabilitated here and the people here have faced problems with civic amenities. As I always try to fulfill all their needs, I visited the settlement today and learned about all the problems of the citizens in the presence of the officials and instructed the concerned officials regarding civic amenities for the people here.
The inauguration of a 24-inch water pipeline to solve the drinking water problem will solve the major water problem of the colony here.
