Protests held in front of Sakinaka police station led by Prayag Lande for the crime of sedition commited by SP MLA Abu Azmi
Mumbai 4th March 2025 ( TGN) : Glorifying Aurangzeb, the enemy of Swarajya, has cost SP MLA Abu Azmi dearly and his speech is drawing strong reactions across the state.
The opposition has demanded that a sedition case be registered against Abu Azmi. In this regard, protests were held in the Chandivali assembly constituency on Tuesday through the Shiv Sena Yuva Sena.
Meanwhile, Yuva Sena executive member Prayag Lande met Senior Police Inspector Yogesh Shinde of Sakinaka Police Station and demanded that a sedition case be registered against Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi for insulting the revered deity of Maharashtra, the founder of Hindavi Swarajya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and the protector of religion, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, and glorifying the enemy of Swarajya, Aurangzeb, through a statement issued by the Yuva Sena Chandivali Assembly Division.
On this occasion, along with Prayag Lande, Shiv Sena sub-division head Sagar Tulskar, branch head Ajay Kamble, Sushil Jadhav, Yuva Sena division head Kranti Rane, senior Shiv Sainik Milind Jadhav, etc., Shiv Sena office bearers and Shiv Sainiks were present in large numbers.
Reacting to this, Yuva Sena executive member Prayag Lande said that the founder of Hindavi Swarajya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and the protector of religion, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, are revered by all the countrymen.
There is a demand from the people that a case of sedition should be registered against Abu Azmi, who glorifies Aurangzeb, the enemy of Swarajya who tortured and killed our Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who was subjected to injustice and atrocities during the Mughal rule. We are protesting today and have demanded that a case of sedition be registered against Azmi with the Sakinaka police.
